The bear will participate in the European Council on Thursday and Friday

Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš will participate in the European Council in Brussels on 20 and 21 June.

The European Council intends to discuss and approve the European Union (EU) Strategic Agenda for the next five years. The EU budget for 2020, climate policy, disinformation threats, external relations, including Russia, Turkey, African countries and EU enlargement, are also discussed. The European Council will discuss the new institutional cycle of the EU following the elections to the European Parliament. There is also the issue of the situation with the Brixite and the Euro Summit.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to participate in the European People's Party Summit.

Prime Minister K. Kariņš will also participate in the solemn signing of the political roadmap for the implementation of the synchronization of electricity networks of the Baltic States with the Continental Europe network through Poland.
